Balance
One of my favorite symbols is Taijitu, the traditional symbol representing the forces of Yin and Yang. I like it because it reminds me to keep things in perspective and continually strive to create balance in my life.
When you think of balance what comes to mind?
We all have different ideas as to what we are balancing. For some it is a couple of things -- work and play for instance. For others its many things -- career, home, relationships, children, etc.
Either way, all areas need your attention. When you put energy into some areas of your life at the expense of others, you're out of balance. This imbalance will always show up somewhere.
- Emotionally: feelings of frustration, sadness or anger may start to surface.
- Physically: backaches, knee problems or foot problems may all of a sudden show up.
- Mentally: depression, confusion and headeaches may develop.
It is important to pay attention to these things as they may be signs that you are ignoring parts of your life. Unfortunately, and I see this over and over again, the first thing that gets "cut" from your busy life is YOU.

So I give you this:
- Think about the things in your life that are important to you -- including yourself.
- Is there anything out of balance?
- Are you ready to make some changes?
If you're having trouble finding your balance and making changes, or you need help getting started, call or email me today. |
